Unique Visitors:- From a Corona Virus low of 228 in Feb 2021 we have steadily risen to 900 in Sept 2025 and in October to 1,445!!  Germany is back in the lead for ‘pages read’ although they don’t stay long unlike Japan where the sudden rise in interest is backed up by staying longer on the website! USA although fewer pages read are on the website for much longer - bandwidth of 27.16MB which is comparable to Great Britain’s 34.43MB.

An all-time high for time spent on the website was in Oct 2023 at 156 GB, Nov 2023 at 25.4 GB has fallen in Nov 2025 to 1.4 GB indicating a significant overall drop in website interest. Most notable is the return of interest from Germany and the sudden substantial rise in interest from Japan. The USA remains a very substantial user at 27.16MB with China at 17.61.

Danceboy’s SCD Journal seems to have remained of interest to a constant few throughout 2025. Overall however the use being made of the website has fallen significantly with more folk accessing the website but spending less time on the site!

Reported last month was the collapse of interest from Germany now dramatically recovered to 1738 pages read albeit they’re not on long with a bandwidth of 1.9MB!How interest changes - interest from Germany has collapsed reverting in Sept 2025 to its past pages read around 56. Although interest from USA has overall fallen the useadeof the website remains substantial with a bandwidth of 27.16MB.

Japan shows a re-awakening of interest rising from 122 at the beginning of the year to 341 - similar to China rising from 119 last year to 321 now!!

Canada rose from 10 to a healthier 34 this month! Sad to report negligible interest from Australia and New Zealand! No-matter, it is still pleasing to see all those who love to ‘dance Scottish’ the world o’er still maintaining an interest in the scottish country dance scene.
