STATISTICS FOR THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY 2023.

Unique Visitors:- The corona virus scare lowered the ‘unique visitors’ count to an all-time lowof 228 in Feb 2021, recovered to a record high of 620 in July 22, an August 22 figure of 591 but a dramatic fall to 451 in Jan 2023!!

 Things is not lookin’ up!!

The dip in the UK figures would be understandable as there were almost ZERO dances announced or crib sheets published in 2020/21. However, February has seen a dramatic loss of interest everywhere!! The figures for March 2023 seem to show a general recovery - let’s hope!!

Danceboy’s SCD Journal seems to have remained of interest to a constant few throughout the Covid months!! The constant few are, I’m sure, amongst the best dancers on the circuit in the world!!

USA has regressed further this month to 177 from 704 in Aug!!

Russia has also fallen back to 7 from a record 93 in Aug!!

Dramatic loss of interest from all countries!!

Also a decrease from China at 22, from Germany a drop to 4 and another low from India at 4!! Canada has also collapsed from 34 to 4!!

No-matter what, it is still pleasing to see all those who love to ‘dance Scottish’ the world o’er still maintaining an interest in the scottish country dance scene. For whatever reason there is a definite reduction in interest in the website.
