STATISTICS FOR THE MONTH OF MARCH 2024.

Unique Visitors:- From a Corona Virus low of 228 in Feb 21 we recovered to a more respectable figure of 673 which fell to to 514 in Feb but in March has risen to 721! Although with the demise of the Martice Club the figures were expected to dip interest from Germany has more than compensated!! The reason - who knows!!

Also an all-time high for time spent on the website in Oct 2023 of 156 GB and then in Nov 2023 of 25.4 GB has fallen in March 2024 to 258.48 MB indicating a larger number of people visiting the website but not spending as much on the site. The momentous change is the interest from Germany rising from 24 pages to 1,303 pages!!! What!!!

Danceboy’s SCD Journal seems to have remained of interest to a constant few throughout the Covid months, appeared to make a significant recovery only to fall back in Winter 2023.

Interest from USA has always been a substantial second place but not this month!! Not only has Germany leapt from a lowly 24 pages but has overtaken USA and the home country to a Pages Read figure of 1,303!! These figures are I suspect a temporary rise and unlikely to continue into 2024 - we’ll see!!

China has made a significant rise to 317 with Russia falling to 47.

Canada remains at 23 this month! Australian interest has collapsed with New Zealand vanishing entirely … sad!!

No-matter what, it is still pleasing to see all those who love to ‘dance Scottish’ the world o’er still maintaining an interest in the scottish country dance scene.
