In the early days scottish country dance classes were held in Moulin and later in Pitlochry itself.

We danced in the Atholl Palace Hotel for 4 years but snow became a major problem making access to the hotel a real challenge. The Town Hall in Pitlochry offered a more reliable venue.

Dancers have been travelling  to the Town Hall since 1989 from all parts of the country for the Summer Dancing organised by June Templeman. We have regular visitors from Europe, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and elsewhere including the redoubtable mobile homes brigade!

Music is provided by some of the best Scottish Country Dance Bands around and enjoyed by both dancer and spectator. There is a comfortable balcony in the Town Hall for visitors and spectators.

The dances are organised and programmes produced by June Templeman. For further details regarding local membership or summer dancing call June directly on 01796 473488.
