Giving serious consideration to joining the Martice Club? Contact any committee member at any time to express an interest. Some great programmes and bands to be enjoyed! Dance with experienced dancers!
Notes:-
1. If any individual or a group of dancers would consider taking on the responsibilities of running such a dance club please make yourselves known!! It is estimated a surviving club would need approximately 32 members. The club has traditionally invited the best of Scotland’s dance bands to play for us!
2. It might interest you to know I was the 100th member of the Martice Club when I became a member in the late 1990’s!
3. Have finally given up any hope of a White Knight coming to the rescue! Do read the letter from The Beatson Cancer Charity above which marks the club’s final demise; sad, but there we are!! The site will be taken down permanently at the end of August 2024.

SOON TO BECOME JUST A MEMORY!!
The last night of Martice club dancing took place on the evening of Mon 11th March 2024 in the Albert Hall in Stirling to a great programme and the sound of Marian Anderson’s Band.
It all finished with the company singing all Auld Lang Syne marking the end of the Martice Scottish Country Dance Club!!
The residual funds from the club’s accounts were donated to The Beatson Cancer Charity who have provided a written response to the donation in a letter which can be seen by clicking here.
